"Under Morecambe Skies" is a collection of photographs taken by Richard Davis in various locations of Morecambe during the last few years. The Photos highlight the often choatic mix of man's often bizarre intervention & nature's stunning natural wonder.
The opening night is on Friday 2nd September in the Dukes Gallery, Lancaster, starts 7.00pm. During the evening there will be an opportunity to see a short film by Richard Davis, again covering Morecambe and featuring such characters as Therese Standish, The Lovely Eggs, Liar Liar, Miss P, Florence Moulian, Michel Gueyrard, The Heartbreaks, Jade Xue & Mia Wilson.
Special guests for the evening include Miss P, who will give a spoken word narrative whilst the film is shown & Kish McGuire who will provide a musical accompaniment.
Drinks/Refreshments will be available.
"Under Morecambe Skies" is on at Dukes Gallery, Lancaster from 1st Sept till 25th Sept. It will then be shown at Lancaster Library in October, More Music in Morecambe during November and finally The Storey Institute throughout December.
